August is national murmur month [Jul. 16th, 2007|10:30 pm]
Dayton Musicians

Just call us butter, 'cause murmur is on a roll. We've got a great couple months lined up for July and August with nearly a show a week.

The fun begins Thursday, July 26th at The Pearl. This will be our first show with our new drummer Dave Pope, so be there so you can tell your kids about it.

If you didn't get your weekly recommended dose of murmur from that, come out to the Oregon Express on Saturday July 28th and enjoy good music and good pizza.

It's deja vu all over again when murmur strikes back at the Oregon Express on Saturday, August 11th.

UD students can rock in another semester with murmur on Saturday, August 18th at Walnut Hills (on Brown Street).

Not even Cincinnati is safe from the murmur freight train. We roll on down to Cincy and hit Dirty Jacks on Saturday, August 25th.

So come one, come all and enjoy the shows. Who knows, we might even give a prize to any murmur fan that makes it to all five shows.

we started up on blogspot. not the best or most ambitious, but it gets the music out there. if your into good, creative music and like hearing music out of the realm of the normal 4/4 on the floor electronic music that only tv ads for cars can bring you, please check us out.

the first release from telepathik will be JFX316's The Ethics of Human Cloning" LP version 2. a remastered version of JFX316's first LP with the new remix EP "Recloning Process." with remixes by Acupuncture, b-sides and new track not heard yet. it should go live sometime this week. for more info, please check out our website and/or JFX316's myspace site. telepathik: we don't sell music. no one buys music nowadays anyway.

JFX316 merch now @ Cafepress.com [Nov. 15th, 2006|12:50 am]
Dayton Musicians

hello again.

in response to a lack of motivation around here, we've set up a Cafe Press merch site called Telepathik. (imagine that) we figured that it been a while since there's been any JFX related gear out there for you all wanting to rep Mr. FX, so we're trying it out. as of now, there's only the one design, the new J-UNIT logo.
Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting

cool, huh? we think so. we've got some more ideas brewing. hopefully, with enough time, some support and a better photo editing system (mircosoft digital image suite sucks hard) we'll be uploading more designs in due time. there could be a myspace site sooner then later. we know how you kids love the myspace.

new music has been put on the backburner until we get some new toys in the lab, get some money saved to get the label off the ground and until the PS3 comes out. yeah, even electronic music nerds such as myself have to buy non musical entertainment every now and then. starting in 2007 will be a great way to start the year fresh.

the "Who is JFX316" LP's tentative release date is august 29th 2007. a full three years after the release of "the ethics of human cloning" LP. hey, at least we're realistic......

thanks for your support. we'll see you soon.

check out the new JFX316 track "demon" it's different, but you should expect that by now. also, thanks to everyone that dropped me a line about that bullshit bulletin stuff that was infecting the myspace site. it's been taken care off and you shouldn't see anymore "OMFG...." posts from there.

thanks, as usual,
